Veronika Feicht works as Agricultural Policy Campaigner at the Munich Environmental Institute (Umweltinstitut München), a German NGO that was targeted by a SLAPP as a result of its awareness-raising campaign on the high use of pesticides in the region of South Tyrol. Feicht represents the Umweltinstitut within the Coalition against SLAPPs in Europe (CASE) as well as the German Working Group on SLAPPs. She is a member of the coalition’s Working Group on communication & campaigns. She took the lead on one of the Coalition’s main campaign in 2021, which centered around an online petition asking the European Commission to come forward with an ambitious anti-SLAPP EU directive. When not campaigning against SLAPPs, the focus of her work is on pesticides, biodiversity and agriculture.
She holds a master’s degree in comparative literature from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany.
