Karl Van den Broeck, Editor in Chief, Apache
Karl van den Broeck is a Belgian journalist. He worked for the Belgian national newspaper De Morgen and was chief editor of the news magazine Knack. Since 2014 he is chief editor of Apache, a platform for investigative journalism. Apache was awarded the Arch Prize for Free Speech in 2017. Van den Broeck is also the president of Media21, the organization of independent digital media in Flanders (Belgium).
Karl van den Broeck is the author of the Doctor Ferdinand Peeters, the real father of the pill and the non-fiction novel Why I always want to save the Indians.
